What’s Next ?

If you’ve read my earlier post and have decided to stay a bit longer, thanks for hanging around

Why don’t you pull up a chair, grab a brew, a slice of cake and I’ll give you an idea about what’s next.

Swim Buddy Network as developed into a really lively group on Facebook, with a lot of useful information and experiences being shared amongst members.  The flip side is that sometimes posts and information can appear and then vanish almost as quickly.

One of the things I want to work on is building a collection of workouts and training plans. Bear in mind, these will be sessions created by me and other members — some simple, some more challenging — and, as always, there’s no “one size fits all”. The idea is that you take what’s useful, tweak what you like, ignore what you don’t, and hopefully share your own versions along the way.

You will probably have already guessed that we will be posting blogs with our thoughts, experiences, observations and ideas.  I’m pretty sure you can understand the reason we have to share them is because they are absolutely INCREDIBLE !!!!

I’ll also be reaching out to our Swim Buddies in the group, to ask for contributions and for you to share with us your knowledge and experiences.  I want to hear about how you got started; did you start as a child or return to swimming as an adult, what do you love, what do you hate, do you swim for recreation or to compete, what are your training plans, what motivates you…etc…

There have been some truly inspirational stories in the group, so it would be good to share these with other swimmers.

That is pretty much the plans as so far and, if anybody thought great that’s it he’s done two posts he’ll shut up now….well…..you are a bit out of luck because I’m loitering around awhile longer.

If you have any ideas for future blogs, content in general or if you would like to contribute then drop me a message at info@swimbuddynetwork.com
