WOW !!!! On 17th February 2020 the Swim Buddy Network celebrates its first birthday and If you’d have told me this time last year it would grow to the size and amazing group it has become I wouldn’t have believed you !
Most people who know me are probably sick and tired of hearing me talk about swimming…it’s become a bit of an obsession (understatement alert !!). That being said, there are days when it’s just not quite right and the swim is very..MEH!
It all started in September 1991… I went to the pool for a nice recreational splash and saw a group of kids being shouted at by this frustrated looking bloke. I asked one of the girls what it’s all about and she said: “this is my coach” COACH !?!? WOW ! That sounded amazing! I wanted one as well!!!!
Well if you’ve read my earlier post and have decided to stay a bit longer, thanks for hanging around. Why don’t you pull up a chair, grab a brew and I’ll give you an idea about what’s next.
First things, first…..this whole blogging malarkey is new to me so if I start to ramble, please bear with me and I’ll get to the point…..eventually….in theory….I promise !
